This is another genre which is novice-friendly and also presents wonderful creative opportunities for experienced designers. This was offered as a virtual work-along for the Texas Master Gardener Conference in 2026.

This debuted as an Art in Bloom workshop at Longwood Gardens in 2026. This is a combination of live foliage plants and cut flowers/foliage (which can be refreshed as needed). It's the perfect design hybrid for plant parents who also love cut flowers.

I started with Scented Bulb Lasagna in 2024 and have since offered heirloom bulb and species bulb focused classes. For container plantings, I've taught White Gardens (evening palette inspired by Sissinghurst), Blue Gardens (inspired by the Blue Garden in Newport), and an Early American palette of plants available in the 18th Century.
